Context: Autoimmune hypothalamitis (AHT) is extremely rare and appears on the Magnetic resonance Imaging (MRI) as a predominant suprasellar mass. There are only few case reports of AHT in literature none was presented together with hypothalamic obesity (HO). Methods prediction hypothalamus (HT) damage included pathogenesis HO. Case description: A 19-year-old female operated transcranial operation due to large mass symptoms visual deficiencies headache. The diagnosis confirmed specimen lymphocyte-dominated infiltration plasma cells, neutrophils fibrocytes. reduced further reduction accomplished by long-term oral Prednisone. Directly after she suffered from which worsened introduction Prednisone treatment. During treatment inflammation improvement vision recorded. She treated glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonist Metformin for her diabetes mellitus type II supplementations pituitary insufficiencies. patient exhibits dramatic weight while strict caloric diet at two follow-up occasions. However, this effect reversed once had stopped calorie restricted diet. Conclusion: coexistence HO difficult treat former involves Pharmacological intervention has limited weight, but extreme successful, however short endurance.
